On
reaching the roundabout at the end of the motorway, take the
second exit sign posted Aljezur, Sines and Lisboa. After 4.5
km, turn left at the mini roundabout on the left signposted
Sagres and Alfambras. Continue on this road for 5.2 km then
turn right at the t-junction, direction Aljezur. After 1 km
turn left, signposted Figueiras. Continue along tarmac road
for a further 2.3 km. Look for house with bread oven and small
sign for Praia. At this point take the right hand fork along
the dirt track. Half a kilometer later, bear left and enjoy
the wonderful view of the sea over rolling hills. Continue along
this track down to the beach, a total of 2.5 km on dirt track
road. |
